It's Not Fair on Nancy

Apologies in advance to Nancy Cameron who probably loves her senior school and the Head of Greycoat who is doing a great job, but the headline over the weekend that Mr and Mrs Cameron are thinking of educating their son at Colet Court which is a feeder for St Paul's and Eton makes depressing reading.

What on earth makes the Prime Minister think that it is OK to invest in his son's education and not his daughter's ? Its just not acceptable to think a girl's education is less serious/important than a boy's.

Same weekend we hear of a new 'war' on educational equality with our most hallowed educational institutions in the firing line - buck stops at home...

I don't agree.

Nancy has a super privileged life anyway, regardless of which school she goes to.

I know many families who send 1/2 or their children privately, and 1/2 state. It depends on which suits which particulae child best. It's no big deal.

And yes, why bloggers chat?
