stay on at nursery or school?

hello can i have opinions on whether i should keep my daughter on at nursery or let her go to school? shes 4 on august 26th i know i can keep her on nursery till shes 5 have any of you kept your child in day nursery till 5? did your child catch up? i'm in leicester uk thanks in advance

I suppose it depends on the child. Schools generally tend to have more structure to the day, more directed tasks, more rules, etc. do you think this is an environment she would thrive in or would she benefit more from one more year in the more free play oriented nursery?

If you kept her in nursery for another year, would she be able to start Reception or Year 1?
