The Last Gasp -my Dad's musings

Katymac · 01/01/2016 20:38

My dad developed lung cancer - his prognosis wasn't good & he lost his voice

He'd always written, but he really told tales; the cancer made him lose his voice so he wrote his tales down.

My brother is publishing his book a chapter at a time, it's not a novel it's short stories, essays, a poem or 2 and even a song (that he made DD sing)

I'd like to share it with people - just because...

The Last Gasp

Thank you. I found that thoughtful and beautifully written.

Your dad sounds like a very interesting man.

Thanks Apples - my brother promised one every other day!! Epic fail so far - but I guess I'll forgive him as it's a bit hard for us right now

You could sit & listen to him for hours - people who met him on a train/meeting etc would still be in touch years later

I'll look forward to reading more when your bro feels up to doing it. Hope your dad is having some good days. xx
