Family members on Facebook

So here is the issue.

I have one elderly family member who wants to add me as a friend on Facebook. I don't want him on there as he has mild dementia and no sense of humour, and can write quite aggressive things on my status updates at times because he does to understand them. Also my darling father likes to stalk me and he won't comment but will call me and have a go at me about something I have written such as the time I wrote I was considering changing careers.

So: how do I handle not having my elderly relative on there without upsetting him and can you still put a restricted profile on someone so my dad can't see my updates but still be on my friends list?

Block them both and say you're not on Facebook anymore! ;)

No, they'd know.

Add them and then change your settings so they can't see when you post something
