how have i friended someone i don't know

and they have accepted , awkward. i don't know who this person is it's odd

You have accidentally clicked on add friend. This happened to me once . That's the only way I could think as to why it happened.

This happened to me - one of my children pressed add. It's easy to do on an iPad. And the person accepted. Then I had someone add me the other day who I don't know. 'Sorry' he said 'I'm just going through mutual friends'

It seems there are a lot of people on Facebook who are quite happy not to know a large proportion of their friends. I think this explains why so many younger people have 2000+ friends.

i just defriended them, feel a bit bad but i only have about 40 facebook friends! i juist hope i haven't done that lots of times to really inappropriate peoole!
