complain or not to complain

Had a rare night out to the pictures with my mum since the birth of my dd. I booked the tickets a week in advance as there are particular seats we like to sit in from previous experiences. On the day went to retrieve the tickets and the self service machine says that the reference number is not known. Then go to the counter, attendant says the same, he said to go through just show my email to the attendant at the gate. Which I do. He says 'oh yes, there was not enough interest in the film so it was moved to a smaller screen. I'll have a look if any other seats are available'. We ended up with an aisle seat right next to the he speakers. The film was very good so did enjoy watching it. I just feel annoyed they take your email/mobile number, it's a small cinema why they could it text/email me to say the film has been moved to a smaller screen. When I tried to raise this the fella did not seem to want to listen and it felt like he kept talking over me and that it's not something to complain about!

Rant over.....sigh

Disappointing maybe but not something I'd be bothered to complain about to be honest.
