DF keeps posting racist jokes on facebook

Hi all
I am not especially close to my dad FYI but I am so disappointed in him that he shares racist jokes on social media. He is 'friends' with many of my friends and I find it so embarrassing. What would you do?

If you're feeling brave you could post a reply to one of his offensive posts "FIL, the 1970's are long gone - racism is not acceptable in 2015" or similar. This would have a double effect - tells FIL what an arse he's being and demonstrates to your mutual friends that you are not in accord with his views.

Or just block him.
