I can't feel anything but sorry for Kerry. Yes, she's a celebrity. Yes, she's repeatedly mad very bad decisions (with men, drugs & money). Yes, she's kept her children firmly in the pages of OK magazine. BUT, all of it does seem to stem from a combination of a very unstable childhood and mental health problems.
She seems to trust the wrong person again and again and again. Her parents let her down, then her first husband has, to all appearances, not been terribly involved in their DDs lives, her second husband was a low life drug dealer & her third husband has assaulted her. Also, of course, there was the accountant who left her bankrupt and her "rock" Max Clifford - after whom her son is named - who is clearly a very dubious character.
She may well be an excellent mum - I've absolutely no evidence to say otherwise - but, I can't help but worry that witnessing all of this growing up could be damaging in the long run.
What she needs, in my humble opinion, is a lovely "normal" non-celebrity friend or partner who can just help her in the way a true friend or partner would. No celebrity lifestyle, no magazine interviews, no gossip columns or reality shows etc. etc., just someone who can show her to live a normal, healthy, life for herself and her DCs. I'm never sure that the world of celebrity is a good place for a person with complex mental health issues to live in any case.
