If someone constantly appears near the top of your people you may know list

Is it likely to be because they look at your profile a lot? The person in question doesn't live near me so we don't frequent the same places and we are not in the same groups etc. he used to have my number but I've made sure Facebook doesn't have my mobile number in there any more.

I know nobody really knows the answer to this but I do think that list must have something to do with who has looked at your profile.

I think it has too. I used to get the same man always at the top of my suggested friends list. Since I've made my profile private he's stopped popping up.

If you look at FB on your phone, then doesn't it automatically have your number?

As for the question - in don't know, hadn't considered it, but it's a possibility.

Two people from my past pop up too. We have no mutual friends and I use an email address that is exclusively used for fb.

FB isn't fooled by email addresses that are only used for its purposes. It picks up everything.
