Total blog ignoramus, please help

Can anyone suggest where I can find a VERY SIMPLE step by step beginners guide to setting up a blog using Wordpress. I don't understand anything about these things but would love to learn. Thanks all.

Zipedeedooda did you mean wordpress.com or what it's called "self-hosted wordpress". To be honest, self hosted is the easiest, but you have to buy a hosting. As to wordpress.com vs www.blogger.com - it's kind of the same. Blogger has less limitation about adverts (if you want to sign with advert company).
