Anyone use "Audience Only Me" and found this ok?

I am thinking of signing up for Facebook, and I just want to use it for contacting a few friends/family, looking at local groups, like vey basic use. Is "Only Me" a good setting to go for?

Do you mean you only want to use it for messenger?

Just set the likes and friends list stuff to only me. Then never post anything.

Have it set to give you approval if anyone tags you.

Only me is just that, only for you. You can have world (every one - don't do that), friends & friends of friends, friend and acquaintances (where you split your friends into two groups), friends except acquaintances ( so work colleagues can go under acquaintances and not see what you post for example) or customs (where you can hide what you post from individuals.
I mainly use a custom one.

Could acquaintances see what you posted if they specifically looked at your profile page?

Alot of photos I want to save but not everyone to see, so I put them online and I put the album setting as 'only me' So no one can see them
