Last week we visited Lyme Park to go in search for the Gruffalo. I can highly recommend this, if you're at a loose end during the summer holidays. We unfortunately didn't go on a Wednesday, when they actually have story telling in the garden, however, it was still a fantastic treat. We followed the mouse throughout the garden, where we came across, the snake in his log pile house, along with the owl in his tree top house, we also came across the broom from 'Room on a Broom'. We had a picnic pit stop, where we discovered the drums. Whilst hitting these you can see the lights move to the rhythm & change colour!! We completed The tour in the orangery looking at the original artwork from axel schieffer. The children ranged fr 2-4, however, I'm definitely going back with my 5 year old & there were plenty of children younger taking it all in. Thank you @NTLymePark!!
