Making money from your blog

Please could someone advise the best way to get advertisements on your blog? Also has anyone sold products from their blog, or is it best to use a separate webpage? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look here at Tots100 here it's a site aimed at bloggers...mainly parenting bloggers but the info is good.

As for selling...no...link your blog to your shop or Ebay store or whatever.

Adsense is the easiest way to get advertisements on your blog, though it really does rely on people not having ad blocker and clicking them.

Affiliation works well too, there are loads of companies out there who use an affilate program including Amazon and eBay then there are companies who outsource theirs to another company such as Affiliate Window, Commission Junction, Paid on Results and Trade Tracker (to name but a few).

Depending on your blog content some companies may purchase ad space from you on a monthly/annual basis.
