Hi all I recently started a blog on Wordpress. (Musingsponderingsandrants.wordpress.com) and it's going quite well.
I would like to get rid of the Wordpress bit. Does anyone know if you can pay to remove the Wordpress bit of the domain name and move blogs over? I have tried upgrading but can't seem to work out how to change thus bit.

Upgrading has nothing to do with it. What you're talking about is called "domain name" or getting/buying one for yourself. Domain name it's like post address - so the net would know where to send people. You could get your own domain name and hook it to your site on wordpress (i.e. site still will be there, and would be possible to find through old address) or you could move your site somewhere else on your own (you buy it somewhere). hosting. When you have your own domain name, you could change the hosting but domain name still will be the same (you will have to hook it to new hosting though).
