I have had a patient who searched daily (if you get what i mean) and brought it in to be sterilised and recemented! You may want to check anyway to make sure it has passed through. Personally I would get a new crown made.

I swallowed a false tooth once and had the pleasure of looking for it, couldn't afford a new one, I soaked it in Milton and then the dentist sterilised it too.
