I hate my partner

Me and OH have been together for 5 years and i hate him. Dont get me wrong I thank that he gave me a daughter but ugggh he's mean, abusive and controlling. He constantly belittles me, he says I don't care or love my daughter (who took 4 years to conceive) he blames me whenever anything goes wrong, I have been knocked around endless times, he says I'm a slag, I'm easy and that I have slept with countless men (he's the 2nd and last).

He constantly jokes my DD ain't his. I have a purse collecting dust as I never have money he always has it, my house is a shit tip as he would rather spend money on things that don't matter rather than doing the house up.

I plan on kicking him out when he goes out on Saturday but I'm not a mean person and my biggest fear is I will back out of doing it. Also his name is on the tenancy so would I be able to kick him out.

Check out your tenancy rights before kicking him out. Speak with CAB or someone who can advise you.

Then get rid of him. You will be happier without him, and your DD will have a healthier upbringing. Good luck.

Ella...I wish you strength and hope you have friends and family nearby to support you... As chair suggested please contact cab...you can also ring women's aid for help and advice....I think it would be good to have their support too given that your oh is abusive...and am sure they can give practical advice too...or perhaps help you get to a refuge ...please look after yourself and your daughter...and keep safe

I want to so bad but I know I will feel sorry for him and end up taking him back in.
Every time he says or does something to me I think 'right that's it he's gone' but I can't bring myself to do it and I'm So sick and scared of being in this relationship

Ella...please ask someone for help before you stop seeing his behaviour for what it is...abusive and controlling and then start believing its normal...it needs more strength than many have to leave this type of relationship..Thats why I suggest you contact a woman's aid/refuge to hold your hand... You have a child to think of too..sadly a child living in that environment will pay a big price ...please get help..he doesn't need your help or your sympathy

makeawish2 · 26/04/2015 12:22

Ella..please have a look at their website..you can phone them or email..but please contact them x. You said in your post he has knocked you around...please do not feel sorry for him!!! Do you have family you could stay with or friends? Could you pack some things while he is at work?

AnyFucker · 26/04/2015 12:23

Speak to Women's Aid. This is a terrible example of a relationship being modelled for your daughter.

EllaRoseMummy · 09/05/2015 09:55

Update - I kicked him out yesterday. If I inform my council that I need my rent and council tax amending as my partner has moved out then the tenancy will change to me having sole tenancy as I will not need his permission as there is domestic violence issues.

Thank you for all your kind words ladies Smile

Well done, you've made the right decision, and have shown great strength implenting it. Your first post was so sad, he sounds horrible.
You and your dad will be so much happier.
If you feel yourself wavering, come back on here for support and handholdigFlowers

starodyssey2015 · 27/05/2015 16:04

Please stay strong and stick to your decision! Please don't take him back your life is worth more than this.

Really well done for giving him the boot. He deserves to be locked up! It must have been hard and you should be proud
