My ex-sil has no interest in her dd. I don't actually speak to that side of the family any more but wanted to ask wwyd? Today ex-sil was still in bed asleep at 11am. Dn was watching tv, She is 7. She hadn't been fed breakfast, was just waiting for mummy to wake up, not dressed obviously. I found this out from a mutual friend of ours who is staying there but working, they had just popped back because they had forgotten something. They are obviously concerned for the little girl and have asked me what to do. Ex-sil is not very approachable.
If this was a one off I wouldnt be asking for advice but this type of thing happens frequently. I think ex-sil is depressed. She obviously needs help but not sure how to do that.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
