Picked this flower in the woods today and wondered what it was?

Primula, you can buy them as pot plants in all kinds of colours.

Primula, I think. They come in all sorts of colourways.

Don't pick the wild flowers. Leave them for everyone to enjoy. If you want flowers buy your own.

It doesn't look like a wild flower to me...
It's cowslip-shaped but not cowslip-coloured (and I don't think the cowslips are out yet, either).

Primula are brilliant pot plants and easy to buy and look after.

Please don't pick wild flowers - if everyone does then there would be no flowers.

(and for some plants, it is illegal to do so - probably not primula though!)

Wild flowers don't live very long once they've been picked Sad and it's true that some wild flowers are protected by law and it's illegal to pick them or life bulbs.

Have a look at this link Here where there's lots of information.

I was out today and saw Lady's Smock (Cuckoo Flower) Wild pale yellow natural coloured Primroses, Lesser Celandine and also Dog Violets, all so pretty where they're blooming.
