How fast is too fast?

I just ate a jacket (sweet -less carbs) potato with prawns and tomatoes in under 3 minutes........ I'm deeply ashamed of myself......but and this is a but I hope at least one of you identifies with, my lovely or not so lovely, you choose, 6 month daughter was crying.....again!

When my son was born, he had problems, caused by the hospital during birth, which meant he had colic and reflux and couldn't sleep unless you held him upright due to the pain in his skull and spine, and my god I thought I had mastered the fast dinner then. But (and I know I should not start a sentence with but) but, with my daughter I can literally hoover my supper in seconds, it is disgusting. I find myself doing it all the time, even when she is settled and calm, always just in case the beast wakes, she's rustling as I type. I'm typing faster.....I do everything faster now, I'm like the Ussain Bolt of the, well everything everyday really.

So my point is, is this behaviour normal? I mean who throws a shoe, no really, what normal middle class Sauvignon drinking "lady" (this is now in question) eats her dinner in under 3 minutes, because really, in truth I ate it in about two minutes, oh the shame.

I eat very quickly too....only when alone though! When my DH bolts his food it gives him wind...not me though!
