Do I delay DS starting nursery because I have a cold?

A pretty bad one... Meant to go with him for settling in tomorrow.

I'd prefer to delay as I feel crap. But am I being OTT or considerate?

He's fine. Hasn't caught it.

You might feel much better tomorrow, I'd play it by ear

Don't lick the other children and go for it, I wod say.

You may be a bit better tomorrow anyway.

Grin At the idea of licking other children. I assure you, I have no plans to!

I'd go with him. Surely if you are feeling crap, it would be good to have someone else look after him for an hour or two? Wink Grin
I had tonsillitis when DS started his settling in sessions - I felt vile, but sitting in the nursery kitchen or out on their balcony with a cup of tea and some water was far more preferable to managing a 1 year old!

It would be lovely to have him looked after...

But am I not risking spreading it round all the other little ones? And staff?

He goes to a crèche no problem so I think he may not need me there for long, but apparently I have many forms to fill in and need to get to know the key worker so I'm guessing I will be there for a good while regardless of how he copes?

Send him.Sickness bugs keep away but if you keep them at home for a cold or yours you will be stuck indoors for years.
