That is smoked in regularly.

Let dc (8 months) play with the toys for the day then wash the next day?
Not worry too much?

Im hoping theres no cuddly toys hoping plastic toys wont smell? Am Probably being unreasonable?

I would think soft toys would need a good wash tbh. As a smoker this is not a problem I've had to deal with before as I only smoke in my back garden. I have a friend who smokes in the house and you can definitely tell the difference on the kids clothes etc and she only smokes in one room.
I don't know if it's neurotic or not but I think I would want to wash them first.
Will the giver be there when they are opened?

bozo I'd do exactly what you suggest in your post. I wouldn't create a scene over it.

In any case the toys will be abandoned after 2 minutes so lo can destroy the Christmas tree instead in my experience Wink

Just wash them as soon as you can. I have done this in the past the children won't notice its gone and get excited when it turns up again.
