I'm a celebrity - NOT - get me outta here

My daughter has recently turned 11 and has started secondary (Y7). Apparently, 'everyone' is watching 'I'm a celebrity...' (apart from us!). She feels under pressure to watch it so that she can join in the conversations her friends are having about the show. I completely understand, but in my view (and the producer's own guidance) this show is for over 18 year olds which is why it's on air after the 'watershed'. How do others deal with this situation, are your young children watching it - how do they react to it? ..... Confused

I started by recording the trials and letting him watch before school.

Now he's almost 13 he watches with us and bed straight after.

I would let her watch it or at least let her watch the trials.
