Hi i am recently divorced, my ex, who was both physical and mentally abusive has applied for residency of our 8 year old son, what are the chances of him winning please if anybody can help

Hi I recently this year have gone through court proceedings with my ex partner over residency of our 2 year old. He threw every accusation out there incl physical abuse!! But unless there is real evidence that your child would be better off with him the judge will have no reason to place the order with him (it's now changed to a 'child arrangement order') please don't panic, I did!

Thank you, i was at lawyer today and i was worried but he reassured me he wiuld dort it out, my ex can be very dramatic and people start to believe his lies and feel sorry for him
