I live in South West London and Transport For London is threatening to remove our local footbridge which provides safe passage over a busy four lane A road. The bridge is the only safe way for many children to get to school and we have set up this campaign at www.facebook.com/saveourfootbridge - would be really grateful if anyone has successfully saved a much-needed footbridge in their own area?
