Should I get this checked out? Don't want to waste hospital staffs time!

Currently 37 weeks pregnant and now on maternity leave thank goodness! However have developed a pretty horrible headache. It's started yesterday at around 10pm and is still going strong. Have now taken my forth dose of paracetamol and it's still not abating. Definitely not a migraine (and is clearly not stopping my MNetting on phone in a dark quiet room) but I think I may have problems if I tried to go outside or drive etc Have called GP and maternity hospital who suggested I could come in for observation but that they are very busy and as its only a headache with no other symptoms it would be a very very very long wait (i.e don't be so ridiculous and waste our time). Thing is.... just before headache appeared I had given a small sebaceous cyst above my ear and pretty forceful squeeze. TMI sorry. Surely the two can't be connected? I should have told them this on the phone i think, but at the time thought it would be completely irrelevant but maybe it's not???
I have a particularly tempestuous toddler due home in a few hours so really not sure if should brave maternity hospital or wait for a GP appointment later in the week at this stage in pregnancy?? WWYD?

I would go and be checked out. I developed a headache as you describe and in my case it was pre eclampsia. Not saying that's the case here at all, but it's better to get nothing diagnosed than leave something undiagnosed.
