Selling on FB - not receiving PM's from prospective buyers

I've advertised a few things on local FB selling pages, when someone (who is not one of my FB friends sends me a PM it doesn't come through) does anyone know what I need to do to enable me to receive these messages?

Have you looked in the 'Other' folder in your Inbox? I expect you will find all the messages in there - it's where they usually go if a non-friend PMs you

Ahhhh thanks EagleRay I never realised there was an 'other' tab, I've just checked it and there are my messages! I knew a clever MNetter would save the day

More info here seems the Other folder is a proper PITA though if you are trying to access from the mobile app...

Glad you found it! I discovered it a couple of years ago and found messages going back years that I didn't know existed!

The 'other' folder is quite a revelation it seems I have a few inheritances, some gentlemen have been 'attracted by my profile' and a few £million I've won!

Who knew!
