party for 5yo dilemma

She will have been at new school a few weeks where she knows nobody. I am trying to decide between:
Party for whole new class which is a gamble whether it would work and she enjoy or not have much idea who children are. But potentially be a chance to meet other kids.
Party with old nursery friends who she loves but will probably lose touch with over next year
Neither- just family day out

I dont want to combine old and new friends at party as think this will complicate things with the two groups segregated.

Anybody care to advise? Wwyd?

I'd do a whole class party - its a good chance to meet all the parents, and gives her a good chance of being invited back to a few

Whole class and maybe a couple of very close nursery friends if you think she'll keep in touch with them.

A whole class party in those early weeks would be brilliant to help the parents and children get to know each other.

Or a family day out.

Sad to say, we tried hard with nursery friends but those not at school have faded away.

Ok thanks. I forgot other option of girls only party at new class. Rather than whole class
