Making new friends in ashford kent

Hi I have two teenage children that are desperate to make some friends in ashford kent, we recently moved here and they go to school in a different town so difficult for them to make friends.

Does anyone have ideas or children themselves around 12/14 years?
Be really nice to meet some new peeps.

Do they have any hobbies or things they like to do? Most libraries will hold lists of local clubs. Also look at local papers for news articles or in the advert section at the back. Google the local area.
