I am an MSc student at Birkbeck College, starting my psychotherapy and counselling training with children and adolescents. A module of my degree is called Infant-Mother observation. As a student, I have to observe a mother and her newborn baby in their house environment for an hour a week. This will give me the chance to understand in depth the relationship between a mother and a child. The right person needs to commit meeting for an hour at her house once a week for two years.
