Kent grammar schools 11plus exam

Hi, I was wondering if any of you who live outside of Kent council area have children you have taken the Kent grammar school test. Would anyone know if it is possible to get a place if your are not from within the Kent area.

I know of children who were offered from the Surrey border area at Judd and Tonbridge Girls, but they had scores of 417+.

I thought Tonbridge Girls did have a catchment area? I know Judd doesn't.
