I forgot to put some cooked sausage rolls in the fridge from last night with the intention on eating them for my lunch now. They have been in the cupboard. Are they safe to eat?
What would you do?

Extra info is i am in the vicinity of a loo all day if need be Grin

I quite routinely eat things that I've left out all night. But it has been a lot warmer these days which increases the risk of unwelcome results.

Cluelessat30 · 21/07/2014 13:11

Oooh.. how do they smell?

0dd · 21/07/2014 13:11

Eat them!

HecatePropylaea · 21/07/2014 13:12

I'd have a sniff and if they smelled ok I'd try one.

I'm a risk taker. Grin

Amrapaali · 21/07/2014 13:17

No. Don't risk it. Not in this hot, muggy weather.

ThursdayLast · 21/07/2014 13:18

They'll be fine

Amrapaali · 21/07/2014 13:18

Cooked veggies, probably okay. Meat, not so much.

themonsteratemyspacebaragain · 21/07/2014 13:20

Well there are 2 to eat. Shall i eat 1 and have a couple of biscuits to make up for it, so i will only be half as ill if i have consequences?! Grin

Just had a whiff and a poke at them and they smell sausage roll like and dont feel soggy or anything!

Mt alternative option is an egg sarny with boiled eggs that have been in the fridge since saturday......

Oh hmmm I thought they were just sausages. I'd be less keen to eat sausage rolls that had been left out, tbh.
