Part time work and National Insurance Contributions

I have worked for years in several part time jobs per year to fit around children. It never occurred to me that employers didn't have to pay your national insurance contributions until you earn about £153.00 per week. I now have been diagnosed with an illness and cannot get any support financially. If you work part time please look into it so you aren't stuck like I am.

There is not a lot people can do about it : the law is clear and the Government are not in a rush to make NI cumulative as it will cost them a fortune in pensions.
