Hi im in a bit of a dilemma and looking for some advice.... my son turns 5 in august and wants a birthday party but am not sure when is best to do it? And when would be best to give invites out?

Hi my son has a birthday in August but he had a super, duper, early 6th birthday party last weekend!! Due to school holidays, we do his party beforehand. The venue was fully booked in July and thats why we ended up with the party last weekend... Invites usually go out 4 weeks beforehand (some people prefer 6 weeks). Good luck!

Be careful if you're ordering a bouncy castle, check they have a good reliability history. We booked with Megabounce.biz (Ross on Wye) and they cancelled with 3 hours notice having confirmed in writing, very stressful and upsetting
