I know it was a tragic thing to happen and I loved that man too but this was going to happen sooner rather than later.

My sister sent me this by text the other day

I can't believe Steve Irwin went swimming without wearing any suncream. Everybody knows that it protects you from harmful rays.

oh dear thats a bad one [groan]

aDAdOnMumsnet · 06/09/2006 12:15

That's ray-ly bad.

Sorry, couldn't help it!

Steve was a bit of a joker himself, so maybe wouldn't be too offended. It's kind of soon though isn't it.

I got an email on the day he died

it had a picture of a bbc news studio with them interviewing Brains from Thunderbirds .. and a subtitle saying "Stingray denies involvement"

shazronnieWEARINGSHOES · 06/09/2006 12:22

well the jokes had to start sooner or later!

trinityrhino · 06/09/2006 12:33

he was a joker himself but maybe a bit soon for the bereaved

charliecat · 06/09/2006 12:34

I got one yesterday too. Think its really bad taste but here you are!!
Steve Irwin was interviewed last week and asked about his fave tv programmes as a child. He said he loved thunderbirds but Stingray would always hold a special place in his heart!

LieselVonTrapp · 06/09/2006 12:36

Yeah I do

charliecat · 06/09/2006 12:36

Steve Irwin got to the pearly gates and god said "that will be £100 to get in"
"Fuck Off" Steve says, ive already been stung once today.

Sparkler1 · 06/09/2006 12:36
