Would this bother you?

For some reason I am wondering about this, and why I'm wondering/disconcerted.
Was in slow moving queue of traffic , cycle lane to my left. Notice small boy aged 4 to 7 ish alone by a fence and do that mildly looking around for someone he belongs to. Is in a uniform (no idea what school). One missing shoe.
I then notice him pushing his bag over the high fence (backs of terraced houses , really run down) and then climbing over himself.
Why did this upset me? Nothing I can do.

Yes this would have bothered me too. Hope he's ok :(
Do you go past there a lot? Try not to worry, if he was distressed you would have stopped

Nerf · 13/06/2014 06:31

Thank you. Go past but not at that time. Even thought of taking a photo of the fence (and therefore back of house) and sending to children's services.

Could you ring 101 if in the uk and report it? Might be innocent but they can investigate?

Nerf · 16/06/2014 20:37

Thank you, I've spoken to someone informally to raise the flag. But yes, it was just a bit odd. And sad.

Oh good well done, I would have been upset if I saw it too.

tiredandsadmum · 16/06/2014 20:46

That seems the best thing to have done.

Thanks. Odd small things that worry you.
