Mainly Sherlock ones, didn't he lose weight for the role? That would explain the extra definition. Yummy.

On a separate note some day my DH is going to spot just how many BC photos I have saved to my ipad Blush. Any ideas for a good excuse? Grin

OK ladies, i have managed to get myself the afternoon off, home alone and fancy a bit of Batch. What should i go for? I've not seen the following:

August: Osage County
The Fifth Estate
12 Years a Slave
Wreckers
War Horse
Third Star
Atonement

Wreckers and Third Star are my favourites in that list (although I haven't seen them all).

I didn't massively like Twelve Years... (I know, I know, heresy) and Benedict isn't in it THAT much, but he is excellent IMO.

The fifth estate is difficult.and blonde batch hmmm

War horse he's quite masterful and there's th in it
Atonement is quite hard again to watch but beautiful on the eye

I've got a little one (!) so unless it's on sky I haven't watched it

I've only seen Atonement on that list which I do love, and James McEvoy looks pretty fine in it too, which is a bonus.

I don't think I could watch 12 Years, my stomach for that kind of thing disappeared after having DD, I like vacuous superhero nonsense mainly these days!

Couldn't watch Fifth Estate either, BlondBatch isn't doing it for me, neither is Julian Assange, funnily enough, though I do like Daniel Bruhl.

Might get Wreckers and War Horse out of the library.

(on an aside, Only - I watched Thor and I still don't get the LokiLust. Will persevere through Avengers and Thor Part the Second but it'd better get better...!)

Oh god, he looks terrible in that one next to Andrew Scott! What happened? He needs more fluffy hair to balance out his face. Maybe this will be his version of Harrison Ford's "Presumed Innocent" hair debacle.

I saw pics on tumblr of his hair from sides and back and it looks nice but I agree he needs the curls and a bit of height to balance out his face.

I think the way he has matured, the bit of added length flatters his face. When he was doing "Fortysomething", his face was a bit rounder, and he could carry off the shorter look. (Am binge-watching that at the moment.) Otherwise his forehead gets to be a little too prominent. Just MHO.

(sigh) DH is binge-watching "Andromeda" at the moment, and I'd prefer "Fortysomething". Kevin Sorbo does NOT do it for me.

He's still hot but I agree with green card. His face is too long to have short short hair. Looks better from the side.
And you can't run your fingers through it and ruffle it or pull it

I like the short hair! Particularly in the photo Sude posted; that might be because he's smiling more naturally in that one so his face looks softer.

Anyone who doesn't get the Loki thing, try Tom in The Hollow Crown, particularly in Henry V. Hel-LO tiger.
