New Blog Post: What happens when breastfeeding goes tits up?!

New post on the blog today, with my experience of what happened to me when breastfeeding went wrong.

No buns fights allowed though- this isn't a BF vs BotF post!

My first baby was easy to breastfeed. She latched on and pretty much didn't let go for 7.5 months. I hated every minute of it and it made me depressed. The PND miraculously cleared up about a week after I stopped breastfeeding.

I started off breastfeeding my second baby but it was all kinds of wrong right from the start. It was awful, really hurt, he wouldn't open his mouth wide enough etc. I felt the gloom descending and I'm pretty certain PND would have kicked in again. He was fully on formula by two weeks. It was the right decision, but I still find myself giving long detailed answers about why I'm not breastfeeding him

Beccajoh It's such a shame many women feel they have to give detailed answers/excuses as to why they aren't BF, it shouldn't be something to feel embarrassed about
