Neighbour Smoking Marijuana in Car

This is going to make me sound like a complete busybody but I don't know what to do. I live in a condo (like a row house) and the visitors parking is directly in front of my house. One of our neighbours (well our neighbour's son) parks in visitors and before going in smokes a joint or two in his car with the sunroof open. It didn't really bother me before, but with the nice weather here and our windows open our house stinks of the stuff most nights.

The guy's mom is a bit of a hard ass and I am reasonably sure she will simply tell me where to stick it if I complain to her.

What would you do?

I would close my windows or burn some pleasant essential oils.

We tried closing the windows last night but it's 28 degrees at the moment and the house got ridiculously hot.

Light some candles, it will clear the air, unscented ones even. Also, run a fan.

We have had our air conditioning on the past 2 days.

Take his car reg & inform your local police on the non emergency number, ask them to have a word,they won't bother doing anything else but it might make him think twice.

Thank you for your responses. I spoke to the neighbour last night and asked him to find somewhere worse to smoke. I was very calm and asked as politely as possible. His response? "Get bent you nosy bitch". Lovely

How strong is his weed that you can smell it in your house for hours after? I can't smell it when it's been smoked in mine (rarely and not by me) an hour ago.

I don't know how wrong it is. But is car is virtually directly outside our house and it comes in through the kitchen windows and the DC's bedroom windows. It's awful.

My windows are open upstairs pretty much 24/7 at the moment. When I'm in bed, I can tell when one of the neighbours is out having a joint as the smell drifts up.

They have friends round that do it too.

Smell doesn't bother me.

I wouldn't confront him as he's a paranoid arsehole who's obviously been affected by the stuff. We've never had a problem with him, but other neighbours have.
