I'm after a replacement for a teddy dd lost yesterday. It came from build a bear. It's two years old. If anyone knows if they still do the same ones and/or where I could get one that would be great.
He looks like this:

Have you tried eBay?

Gileswithachainsaw · 29/05/2014 20:52

I'm wading through 635 pages of it :( no luck so far

It looks like this one?

:( no. Tey don't appear to do the same one anymore I'm waiting for a reply from head office. Maybe they have one gathering dust somewhere

Hmm. Ok this one looks more like the shape of it?

Yes I spotted that one too, it's hard to tell with the lighting tbh. Certainly the closest I've found so far.

What do you think? Does it match?

He had to go to hospital. So he had a nose job. Put a bandage over the afflicted aka different places and say he needs extra t ( for teddy) lc.

Gileswithachainsaw · 29/05/2014 22:50

I like your thinking :)

Yes I definately think a bit of creative story telling is in order. Just hope she buys it

It's very sun

Paddingtonthebear · 29/05/2014 22:52

Similar!

In the U.S they have a list of "retired" bears. I wonder if they've got something similar in the UK? Have you tried posting on their Facebook page?

Gileswithachainsaw · 29/05/2014 22:56

No I haven't actually. Not even looked hadn't thought of that. I've emailed but had no reply

There's a lost bear feed on twitter. Don't know if they might be able to help?

Gileswithachainsaw · 29/05/2014 23:02

I'm not on twitter :( I don't understand it. The email adress on face book is the same as the one I've already emailed. I'll send another one though I think. There's posts on the face book page but just photos and promos. No comments from people and responses.

There is a 17 " jellycat teddy on eBay that looks similar, though he may have dark soles to his back paws.

Perhaps Teddy had to rush off to Aunt Lucy who has gone into hospital in Darkest Peru ( cf postcard that has just arrived) and us very sorry to have left, but wonders if you could be kind to his cousin Teddio?

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/05/2014 18:54

Oooh a post card! Fab idea.

She asked for him again today.

I received email from build a bear stating they are dealing with my enquiry.

Long lost cousin huh.... That's a good idea too.

Will have another look on eBay
