Hi I bought a Bugaboo in august 2013 its now may 2014 so about 9 months ago. I was on a bus recently and on two seperate occasions I parked the pushchair in the buggy bay put the break on and sat on seat nearest to buggy. the driver stopped bus and opened doors and the break on my bugaboo bee plus has popped off by itself and buggy gone flying for the door, the first time i put it down to myself maybe not putting break on properly the second time i know i put it on properly. I am now terrified to use the buggy as i feel it isnt safe anymore. I called Mothercare in WOOD GREEN LONDON, this morning & spoke to the manager and asked if i could possibly get an exchange or refund to get another pushchair she refused but she didnt even offer a repair, im sure she lied to me though she said in every pram manual it apparently says the vibrations on the bus makes breaks come off! so she didnt want to help at all... is it true that it states this in pushchair manuals? and any advice on what to do in regards to a replacement pushchair, exchange? do i have any rights in this case?
