Hairdresser forgot my appointment!

Went with my DD to get our hair cut - we have different stylists at the same salon. Receptionist sent my DD straight through and asked me to wait which I did. After 30 minutes (not unusual - they can be slow), my stylists' next appointment arrived and they then realised they had forgotten me and hadn't told my stylist i was there. They apologised but I was told they could no longer fit me in and I could re-book. I said I'd phone to make an appt. Was I a complete doormat as usual? Would you have been more annoyed with them?

That's a shame, but there is nothing you can do if they are fully booked. Maybe phone around different places tomorrow and you might be lucky and get an appointment that day

If you like your stylist, go back, but make it clear that after being messed about you don't expect to pay full price. Inconvenience, parking, fuel, etc?
