My 6-year-old son likes to read books, but he gets bored by current children's books (He has read a lot). Is there any books recommended concerning exotic foreign stories? I think he might be interested though.

Exotic foreign stories? Not sure what you mean really? Has he read any of the easier Michael Morpurgo stories like the butterfly lion. DS2 (6) loves that book and reads it over and over. The invention of Hugo Cabret is also a magical book and beautifully written and illustrated but at six would probably be one to read to him rather than for him to read to himself.

What books is he reading that he is bored of? Is he still on picture books?
