ok, so I have just drunk half a bottle of wine (hey! it's our anniversary!) but DH and I have just watch part the first of Parade's End, and we didn't half find the plot hard to follow. All these meetings and whathaveoyou seemed a bit - random? Did we miss something?

Thank you for the Khan pics. Out of all his roles that is the one that makes me go extra, double wibble.

Stick with Parades end, it will make sense as you get to know the characters. It's a truly wonderful series, Rebecca Hall who plays his wife is just glorious in it.

cumberlover thanks for checking. I have listened to all the episodes several times but they are just so funny, and Benedict's voice is so dreamy, that I could listen to them all day every day

Apparently you can now vote for Khan as fave villain and fave character on MTV, you have to log in so with my usual internet paranoia I haven't done so.

And Martin Freeman is going to be Richard III on stage late this year, which is exciting!

I haven't read the whole thread, so sorry if I'm spectacularly missing points, but:

• I read ages ago (on here I think) that he and Alice Eve used to be fuckbuddies but are now just friends

• I don't like all the bulking up. I like him lean, pale and interesting (see Third Star)

• I love men in glasses (Zachary Q, Tom Hiddleston) but am not really enjoying Benedict in his...
