Oh, Hamlet ends on 31 October - that's a shame as my birthday is in November, was hoping for a birthday treat. Never mind, I expect I can find another excuse for a weekend in London (going to see Andrew Scott in Birdland next month which looks good and is also setting a precedent for theatre trips to London

I think I might go for the £40 membership - don't go to the theatre that much these days, though used to to to the RSC loads, but DH would use the art gallery bit quite a lot, I think. I wonder when tickets go on sale - wouldn't want my membership to run out!

I'm wondering how I can sneak Barbican membership out of the joint account...we live in the furthest reaches of the north of Scotland. There's not much call for London theatre membership in these here parts...but 'Hamlet' is GENUINELY my favourite play (really, really and truly - I could do a quiz on it and everything...) so it'd just be wrong not to go and see him.

It would be nice if we, as a whole, could go and see the play, but it might be too complicated.

If we all had two tickets each?
