I posted this earlier today and it's had over 1000 views and some amazingly honest feedback. Would love to know how anyone else found this period

Found it exactly as described in that blog. It's as though she followed me around! Actually it's a comfort to know I'm not alone as I'm sure we all hide it and trick each other into thinking "everyone else is fine except me".

I also fell ill with multiple sclerosis at the same time and assumed all of the horrible feelings were linked to the illness, but actually maybe some of them are linked to being a parent!

You only have to look at the comments to see that many women feel exactly the same. The comments so far are friends, colleagues, colleagues from a long time ago, and strangers. Of the ones I know, they are all very different and mostly I had no idea they'd felt like this. X
