Hello everyone I'm new to the network and not sure abt where to post this so I've put it here as a new blog hopefully it finds everyone - I'm in a dilemma, and need advice, my bf of 9months lives 60 miles from me and we have been discussing what to do next and I decided I want to move to his area, my dilemma is I need to sell my house and I'm getting very negative fdbk abt this from 1. My parents and 2. My kids father they don't want us to move at all. Now to put you in the picture my parents are not hands on grandparents and my kids father prefers to drink other than spend a lot of time with his kids. My partner is a wonderful man and I know we will have a good life together (he has a daughter also). But now I'm getting really confused with what to do, I keep getting told I shouldn't sell up and should just rent my house but I know I don't want to do that and also can't afford to do that. I'm not worried abt moving away as it's only a 55min drive away and I'm the sort of person that a house could be anywhere type thing if you know what I mean. I'm just getting really confused about everything now and trying to please other people because I feel guilty because they are acting so devastated saying things like I'm infatuated and not thinking of my kids I'm 43 and my kids are my life. My teenage daughter has struggled with bulling at school and is desperate to get a new start, and my son is really happy to move. My parents are emotionally blackmailing my kids trying to change their minds so it has now become something we don't talk about anymore and there's a atmosphere all the time at the moment. Sorry for going on but I need some advice please help thanks
