Hello all,
For sure this is a hot topic but very interested in average prices for full time private nurseries Monday - Friday, 8am / 6pm, with afternoon nap time, cooked meals and snacks and a good quality educational programme? I might ask a lot but for our toddlers dont we want the best?
thanks,
Lawrence

Any particular parts of the country you're interested in?

£32.50 a day North West England.

£50 per day in Edinburgh, although if it's F/T it works out as slightly less on a monthly basis.

Childminders cost the same here, average £5.50 per hour.

Hi, London price for Ofsted outstanding nursery £1500 per month. Yes, shocking. I'm paying it because quality is worth it, although obviously government subsidy would be helpful. See my blogpost.
