If it was that much, I'd split it. If it was £1000 or less I wouldn't.

I kind of had this - I won £500 store credit in a competition. I took a friend with me and told her to buy wherever she wanted up to £100 - I thought it would be more fun to go shopping if we could both spend rather than just me. The shop arranged a personal shopper, champagne etc.

I would give 10k

I would share. And she would refuse and then I would insist and so on until at very least I had given her a few grand.
