Will go through some of the links when I get time but just wanted to join the thread: there's been a sad lack of Cumberbatch on my Mumsnet front page since we filled up the last one!

I really hope that if BC and Gary Oldman get involved in this it'll be better than the pile of drivel that is (are?) parts I, II and III! Harrison Ford is looking really pretty old these days, not sure he can cut it as an action star for much longer (my Star Wars heart will always belong to Han Solo, BC or no BC!).

Aw, thanks Frankel! I must admit my affections are being SLIGHTLY swayed towards lovely Tom H at the moment, but probably just because I've seen more of him recently (so to speak) than of Benedict. I applied for but didn't get Cabin Pressure tickets, unsurprisingly, and, well, he's not in much else at the mo is he? I did think he looked surprisingly hot in 12 Years a Slave though; his dark hair and very blue eyes were extremely seductive

Not sure when we'll see him next. He's been working in the US lately on something, Hamlet will probably by in the autumn and The Imitation Game is likely to be a late-2014 release in order to make awards season.

Do we know what he's working on in the US?
Maybe I'll have to dig out the old Sherlock DVDs in the meantime to keep me going!

There was a vicious rumour that hamlet won't be on this year now......

But no film in April, which leaves him free to attend to my needs. It is my birthday.

A friend has just PM'd me on Facebook to say one of her friends just texted her from a theatre in London to say she is sat next to BC

frankel as long as she's not with him, that's ok.

Anyway, he's in cumberlover cupboard.

I can just imagine sitting next to him in the theatre. Grips his knees in terror, offers to buy him an ice cream in intermission, finds chair too uncomfortable, gets viewing goggles out.

HRH, where did you hear that rumour about Hamlet?

I really hope he still is doing Hamlet in the Autumn as i so want to go for my birthday. I've promised DH a trip to the Olympic Velodrome for his, so hopefully he'll be up for Hamlet for mine!
