new crochet blog- first post!

I like it. I love crochet though.

I'd make the bit about you in a larger font, paragraphs and maybe a couple of pics! A bit more colour on the blog overall would be good. Maybe put some key words bigger and in a different colour.

I'm sure you know the Attic 24 blog - my absolute fav.

Hi there, I'm learning at the moment. I've managed a scarf and am halfway through two baby blankets and a few other bits n bobs. I like your description of yourself as far from the 'chintzy' crochet brigade, I prefer more modern looking projects and colour combinations too. I've bookmarked your blog, look forward to seeing more of your work.

One other thing, I don't know if you are planning any tutorials etc. but from my point of view video tutorials for beginners are far and away the best. Although there are great blogs out there with lovely pictures and written instructions, I don't visit them very often as I can't yet follow the written instructions as well as I'd like too. Most of the beginners I know are all learning via videos.

I am very scared of videos - too technical. However, my son is very techy and good at that kind of thing - so I might just be brave!

I am hoping to improve the overall look as time goes on. I am just getting used to the layout options etc.

Why not compete? Your stuff is a different style. I loved the project bag! (I have been making one for a while and still not finished it, but I prefer your one and will maybe make a shopping bag like that).

Well done for actually doing a blog - most people just talk about it!
